Project Overview

CKG Technology Solutions completed a comprehensive technology upgrade at Artillery Ridge Campground focused on strengthening the campground’s core network infrastructure, improving Wi-Fi performance, and enhancing property security with AI-powered surveillance.

The project addressed both current performance needs and future growth, creating a more reliable and scalable technology foundation for the campground.

Building a Stronger Network Foundation

Every reliable network starts with a solid core. CKG Technology Solutions cleaned up and rebuilt the campground’s network rack, creating a professionally organized and scalable infrastructure designed to improve reliability, simplify maintenance, and support future expansion.

A properly designed network rack also makes troubleshooting and future upgrades significantly easier, helping reduce downtime and simplify ongoing network management.

Eliminating Wireless Mesh for Better Performance

One of the primary goals of the project was improving Wi-Fi performance throughout the front half of Artillery Ridge Campground.

CKG installed new poles and deployed dedicated point-to-point (PtP) wireless backhaul links, replacing wireless mesh connections that had previously connected multiple access points.

The upgraded network provides:

• Faster, more consistent Wi-Fi speeds
• Lower network latency
• Increased overall reliability
• Greater capacity during peak campground occupancy
• Infrastructure designed for future expansion

Replacing wireless mesh with dedicated backhaul in high-density areas allows individual access points to deliver stronger, more consistent performance to campground guests.

Upgrading Security with AI-Powered Cameras

Artillery Ridge Campground also received a new AI-enabled security camera system designed to improve property monitoring and make recorded footage easier to review.

Intelligent analytics, including smart event detection and AI-assisted playback, help campground staff locate specific events without spending hours manually searching recorded video.

The result is improved security, faster incident investigation, and greater peace of mind for campground staff and guests.
